Dina and Galen met and married in 1986 in North Carolina. They built a family together and spent the next 19 years traveling the globe. In 2005 Galen retired from a 21 year career in the United States Marine Corps, and the family settled down in Elk Mound, WI. Eventually, their children grew up and Dina and Galen became empty nesters, giving them the opportunity to pursue their personal goals again. Galen started a business doing duct cleaning and handyman services, while Dina got her CNA license and opened a home in Colfax to care for adults with developmental disabilities.
Looking for even more excitement in their life, together they decided to open the restaurant you know today as Vino Cappuccino. Their goal is to connect people, support local vendors, and impact the community. Dina and Galen have five children, nine grandchildren, and three grand dogs. |
