Bluestem is Joe Thielen and Dan Zerr from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In addition to performing as Bluestem, Joe and Dan are veterans of many current and past bands in the area including Eggplant Heroes, Bugbear, Hey Joe, Yam Cannon, and The Obtainables. Bluestem plays a wide variety of music including classic tunes, folk, Americana, as well as a variety of original compositions, many of which are available online or on CD.
