My name is Erin Hill and I have been a self-taught artist since 2018. My first experience as an artist was in 2018 when I entered three of my paintings into the Annual Spring Art Show at the Heyde Center in Chippewa Falls, where I sold my first painting! It was at that time that I decided to join the Valley Art Association and make art a bigger part of my life. Since then, I have sold many paintings. Each time one of my paintings finds its forever home, it feels like the first time… complete joy and (honestly) shock! Though my go-to paintings are typically mixed-media acrylic pours, it is hard to set myself apart from other artists who do a similar technique. I enjoy putting my own personal touches in my paintings to stay unique. I have recently started experimenting with texture and glass and cannot wait to see where this new artistic path leads me! My work has been shown at the Chippewa Falls Farmers Market, Lucy’s Delicatessen in Chippewa Falls, Altoona Public Library, Annual Spring Art Show at the Heyde Center, VAA Annual Members Exhibit at the Heyde Center, Holiday Craft Show at the Heyde Center, Yellowstone Art Trail, Falling Leaves Art Tour, and now Vino Cappuccino!
